Programs and Ministries for Children

We offer many different classes and programs for children 0-18.

Sunday School

We have temporarily suspended Sunday School for the foreseeable future.

Junior Church

Junior Church is for children ages 6-12 who are not yet Junior Soldiers. It takes place every Sunday during the sermon. It is an opportunity for the children to learn more about the Bible in a fun and interactive way.*

Junior Soldiers

Junior Soldiers is a class for children ages 7-12 who have been enrolled as Junior Soldiers. To find out more about what it means to be a Junior Soldier, please click HERE. We also offer seasonal classes called ‘Totally His’ for children who are interested in becoming Junior Soldiers. These classes are held during the sermon each week.*

Sunday Music & Arts

We offer music and arts classes for children ages 7-18 on Sunday afternoons from September through mid-May. These classes require registration and a contract must be completed and signed acknowledging the importance of attending classes weekly. The various groups have opportunities to perform during Sunday morning services throughout the school year. Classes currently offered include:
~ Brass Band (beginners – advanced)*
~ Singing Company (choir for ages 7-11)*
* These classes are required for all music students

Corps Cadets

Corps Cadets is a weekly program that challenges and trains teenagers as they experience life and become adults. Lessons have a Biblical foundation and relate to the ministry and mission of The Salvation Army. Teens are given tools to help them become leaders of today and to draw closer to God in every aspect of their lives. There are many additional activities and projects that are included in the curriculum.
